Humans![/u][/b]
-----Humans have been around for centuries and know how to keep on kicking. Over the years and with scientific research they have managed to increase their chances of survival as well as extend their lifespans.
-----Humans have evolved over the years to survive though they aren't exactly fans of change. They are also not afraid to say that they don't like change.
-----Humans have the highest chance of being able to control magic aside from the Fae. They are either born with the ability or can learn how to control it. These humans are known as Witches and Wizards. A Wizard is someone that is born with the ability to control magic, while a Witch has been taught magic. Not the common Witches are female and Wizards are male like most people like to think.
-----Humans also have the capability of becoming a Druid. A Druid is someone that has a deep connection with Gaia (also know as the earth). Through years of study and practice, an initiate becomes a full fledged druid through a ritualistic binding to the earth preformed in the old world. Over the course of two months, the right side of the body is tattooed using all natural inks and dyes with a thorn still attached to its bush. The process starts at the bottom of the right foot, and proceeds up the body to the shoulder, then down the arm and ending over the back of the hand. Once the foot is finished, the connection to Gaia is established and she rushes in, communicating with and getting to know her newest guardian. The tattoos down the right arm are done in a sequence imparted to the Archdruid doing the work by Gaia, and form the Druids animal form, which are picked by Gaia herself. Each druid has five forms total, an aerial form, an aquatic form, a four legged form, and a predator form, in addition to their human form. Their magic is cast through bindings, seeing the connection between living things and manipulating them. They can only store a limited amount of energy in their body, but through the circle on the sole of their right foot, they can draw power from Gaia to effectively never tire or run out of magic. This has been made harder during modern times with pavement and asphalt of course, but still most modern druids do alright. The main drawback to their relationship with Gaia is that they can never use their magic to directly harm another being. If they ever do so, Gaia slays them immediately. What this means is that while they can use their magic to boost their speed and strength, and of course to affect undead and constructs, in order to compete, they can never break the skin or alter the bodily functions of another person, for any reason with their magic.
