A Never Ending War...
A school was opened sixty years ago. One that was built on the dreams of a headmaster. She dreamed that one day humans and Yajuu would live together in peace. This dream of the headmaster's was coming true. Her school, also known as Akashibai Academy, began taking in Yajuu and humans. They were taught the same things and treated the same. Things were going incredibly well for the academy, except that the people of Denver were getting nervous. This nervousness began to spread further than just the city of Denver. It didn't take long for the school to get attacked and the student body was cut down. The aftermath of the attack left the headmaster and the school shattered. Many students attempted to keep the school going but the headmaster simply disappeared. The school crumbled and the humans began their assault on the Yajuu. This erupted into a full blown war between the two sides. The war, known as The Blood War, was one of the bloodiest wars in Yajuu and Human history. It was a war that waged on for a full sixty years. Throughout the war neither side could gain any ground. Anytime the Yajuu would try and make a move, the humans would push back just as hard. The same went for when the humans would try and make a move. This war never seemed like it was going to end.
From the destruction and death of the Blood War, came a new hope and chance for survival. This hope came in the form of The Alliance of Swords. The Alliance was made up of four of the most powerful beings on the planet. Their goal was to stop the fighting once and for all, but the humans were making it difficult. Humanity had become almost mad with the idea of killing off all the Yajuu. They were throwing themselves into fight after fight without a single care about the cost. The Alliance came up with the idea of casting a world spell. This world spell would affect all of humanity and make them believe that they had "won" the war. To them it would appear as if all the Yajuu had been killed off and only humans remained. This was the only way The Alliance could save both Yajuu and Human kind. With their world spell, all of the Yajuu went back into hiding and the fighting had stopped. After the war was ended, the four original creators of The Alliance solidified the group. They invited representatives of each species to join up and act as diplomats for their races. The Alliance created laws for all of Yajuu kind to follow and they enforced these laws heavily. If they were going to maintain this peace, then they were going to need to keep the Yajuu in the shadows. There are two groups that work with The Alliance and act as a police force of sorts. These two groups are known as The Swords of Our Time and The Wardens. Together they police the globe and keep humans and Yajuu safe. It has been ten years since The Alliance was established and things have been going smoothly. That is until the humans start poking around in the dark again.
Once the war officially ended, efforts were made to try and reopen the school in Denver. Thanks to a small group of anonymous backers, the school was reopened to all of the Yajuu. It is now hiding away in the forests of Denver where the humans cannot find it. There is still hope that both humans and Yajuu can attend the school together. The dreams of the headmaster have not been forgotten. But for now the school remains open exclusively for Yajuu. Many of the students are training to join up with one of the groups of The Alliance. They aspire to be like the members of The Swords and The Wardens. They want to help maintain the peace as well. With the school being reopened, there is new hope on the horizon. But that is not all that lurks there. Humanity is starting to poke around in places they shouldn't. It's only a matter of time before they discover that they didn't actually "win" the war and that Yajuu still exist. Will history repeat itself or will the academy finally be able to show that humans and Yauu can live in peace?
